The Conference

Agricultural productivity, nutritional security and environmental sustainability require urgent and utmost scientific intervention at regional, national and international levels. It is also very essential to revolutionize all existing agricultural practices, food production, global warming and climate change to ensure food security through adequate nutrition, availability, accessibility and sustainable utilization. In this scenario, scientific community has an essential role in informing available modern ideas and synchronized strategic investments to establish sustainable agricultural production systems with reduced greenhouse gas emissions and to make the best possible use of existing resources with most suitable land management practices. With less natural resource base for agriculture, many countries may have to heavily rely on imports for guarantee food availability in near future. Hence, the first and foremost requisite is to reinvent regional, national and global capabilities for agricultural development and food production through modern approaches and innovative technologies fuelled with financial investments which can further result in increased agricultural productivity and food security. This can enormously help to improved nutrition and health to society. Modern technologies and new/novel potential foods help humanity in addressing the dual challenges of food and nutrition security and environmental sustainability. Incorporation of knowledge on modern technologies and practices of sustainable agriculture will ensure increased food production for nutritional security. And thus, this international conference will provide better forum for scientific deliberations and research collaborations on agricultural sciences and food technologies in order to achieve the most alarming millennium goals of increasing agricultural productivity, while ensuring nutritional security and environmental sustainability.

Abstracts are invited from academic faculty, scientific researchers, young investigators and research scholars for either oral or poster presentation. If you wish to submit an abstract for consideration, you must also intend to register for the conference. Online submission is the only method of receipt of abstracts and the same can be sent by email to asft.sabt@gmail.com with official address and email of the presenting author (not more than 250 words in times new roman).

The conference registration fee is non-refundable, non-negotiable and non-transferable. This conference is for limited participants only on a first come, first served basis and no spot registration facility or no cancellation facility will be made available.
